ISIS: How to survive in the west

Introduction:

It is 6th January 2015, there are close to 20,000 people protesting against Islam and immigration in
Dresden, Germany. They hold massive banners saying: ‘Stop the Islamisation of Europe.’
In Cologne, Germany, a slightly greater amount of people are protesting. This crowd has a huge mix
of Muslims and non-Muslims. They are ‘pro-immigration’, but in reality they are doing a counter demonstration against the fascism being displayed in Dresden.

Just 5 years ago, far-right demonstrations like this would be impossible to see in Europe. But now
they are on the rise, and will keep on growing over the coming years…
The question is; How did all this begin? Why has the far-right grown? And how will all this lead to:
“the Conquest of Rome”?

Europe – the early immigrants:
Since the fall of the Ottoman empire in 1924, war has spread to almost every corner of the world.
The colonisers who came to the Muslim and Eastern world would divide the people through artificial
borders and swiftly power grab and take hold of precious lands which belonged to natives. These
lands contained trillions of tonnes of treasures, ranging from gems to oil, to gold and gases, fruits
and pearls. Anything you can imagine was grasped and taken away. The people of the Eastern lands
felt helpless and weak. The colonisers could now take all this precious treasure and sell it at
expensive rates in the Western world to make even more profit.

Europe had been the most prosperous and safest place to live since then. Immigrants and refugees
would wish to flee to Europe to live a ‘heavenly life’ which they had heard of.

The 1st generation (1945-1960) of Muslim immigrants came to Europe during the World War 2 era
(1945+). WW2 had caused alot of damage to Europe, and there weren’t enough people to do the
labour to fix the damage caused by both sides in the war.

The descendants of the colonisers –the rulers of Europe- decided it would be better if they imported
poor immigrants (the majority who were Muslims) who by now lived in poverty in their lands, and
would happily do the slave work for them if they could come to the European ‘heaven on Earth.’
The colonisers took immigrants from the lands they had colony power over.
The British received a majority of South Asian immigrants: Pakistanis, Indians, Bengalis.
The French received a majority of Maghribi immigrants: Algerians, Moroccan, Tunisian etc.
The Germans received alot of Turkish immigrants.
The Finnish received alot of Somalian immigrants.
Each European country had a Muslim minority from different nationalities who could do all the
cheap labour for them.

This 1st immigrant generation was satisfied with a basic living, and they felt in awe of their new
rulers. They did not want to offend their European rulers and felt grateful to them for giving them a
job, a home to live in and a mosque to pray at in their European land. They had been prevented from
these basic human rights in their homelands by the puppet rulers (which the colonisers had put on
thrones before they left.) So these immigrants were grateful for even a little.

The 2nd generation (1960-1980) of immigrant Muslims lived in tight ghetto communities with the
families who had emigrated with them from abroad. Their parents knew very well that many
financial opportunities were available in Europe, so their focus was to ensure their families were rich
and had high ranking jobs so they support the poorer family members ‘back home’. They went to the
schools, learnt the languages and faced racism because they were the minority. This generation’s
priority was to ‘fit into’ Europe and get a good stable job.

The 3rd generation (1980-Present) of Muslims were brought up in the ghettos with their ethnic
Muslim majority. They did not experience the racism the 2nd generation did because they lived in a
predominantly Muslim populated neighbourhood with members of their own ethnic community.
They were more certain and confident in their Muslim identity, and they considered themselves as
equals to those with them. They did not have the negative cultural stigmas the earlier generations
had carried, and they had more freedom in choosing which parts of Eastern and Western culture
they liked and disliked. Many from this generation achieved high level education, and many got high
class jobs like Doctors or Engineers.

Behind the scenes, many Caucasian (White) Europeans started to feel intimidated with these
growing Muslim communities. The ruling class -the descendants of the Colonisers- began to feel
threatened with a generation of Muslims who would have equal opportunities to the European
rulers and who might take opportunities in leadership positions, so they started campaigns in
popular culture to make ‘brown’ people look up to gangsters instead of intellectuals as role models.
They would also support far-right racist groups whose job would be to make Muslims and other
ethnic minorities feel uncomfortable with their presence in Europe.

As this 3rd generation of immigrant Muslim youth got into their late teenage years, their parents
were able to afford Satellite channels. As a result, this 3rd generation of Muslim youth watched
Entertainment channels with music which would promote gang culture, so they too started to get
involved in ghetto gangs. Their parents had always wanted them to get a good job to make money
for the family, and selling drugs was a quick way to make money. Having access to gangs and drug
dealers would also mean having access to the dark underground of the ghettos, where there were
guns and illegal weapons gang members could get hold of…

It is reported in Musnad Ahmad [17680]

“The Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah (God) wills, then Allahwould take it away. Then it will be (followed by) a Khilafah [caliphate] Rashidah (rightly guided)according to the ways of the Prophethood. It will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away.Afterwards there will be a hereditary leadership which will remain for as long as Allahwills, then He will lift it if He wishes.Afterwards, there will be biting oppression, and it will last for as long as Allahwishes, then He will lift it if He wishes. Then there will be a Khilafah al-Rashidah [Guided Caliphate] according to theways of the Prophethood,” then he kept silent.”

ISIS2“We declare Fallujah as an Islamic state, and we call on you to be on our side! ISIS1 The Islamic State’s widely publicized beheadings of American journalist Peter Foley, American aid worker Peter Kassig and others Americans are designed by the Islamic State for the greatest shock value.

The sheer gore of the now-too-common beheading videos was a highly-calculated propaganda tool by the terror group. Designed to evoke both paralyzing fear as well as dissuade those who may think of opposing the group, the beheadings seem to have served their purpose.

Western leaders, imagining their own soldiers captured and in a similar position, are loathe to send them to such a potential fate, which means politically and militarily their hands are tied. . .

Despite the current political challenges and legal loopholes being exploited by IS affiliates in Australia, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) have done an admirable job in proactively identifying threats and neutralizing them. Unfortunately, the threat still exists and our sources in the Middle East have warned us that its only going to get worse after confirming that IS having formed a new “English-speaking” foreign fighter battalion consisting of Aussie, British and American jihadists. Currently, the fighters in this unit – known as the “Anwar al-Awlaki Battalion” – are serving on the front-lines in Northern Syria (although we’ve heard that a detachment has been sent to reinforce Mosul and Tikrit). However, our sources have informed us that the goal of this unit is to have personnel with enough experience to be sent back to their countries of origin within the next 4-5 months. Of this, Australia and the US were mentioned as the two primary targets followed by the UK and to a lesser extent, France. the Anwar al-Awlaki Battalion is the sister unit to Katibah Nusantara Lid Daulah Islamiyah (KNLDI – more to follow in an upcoming article), which consists of Malaysian, Indonesian and Filipino foreign fighters who have the same tasking. …

As you all know ISIS is fast becoming THE face of modern Islamic jihadism. As with all things Islam ISIS’ has polarized both the Western and Islamic world. In the above video Ayad Jamal Al-Din speaks out about the ISIS threat and what he says, if true, is extraordinary frightening.

But there are a couple of very interesting aspects concerning Al-Din. First, the author of the story calls him an “authentic moderate Muslim.” How often have we heard that. The Imam of the masjid which Alton Alexander Nolen attended was labeled by the MSM as a moderate. Yet, days after such a declaration he was caught on tape calling for jihad against the West. Every day Imams or masjids who have been declared moderate have turned out to be a normally Islamic who want to jihad against the West. But we are assured Al-Din is not like them.

So, lets assume that Al-Din is an authentic moderate Muslim. Is it possible to define such a being? Actually, Al-Din can help us do that. First, Al-Din claims ISIS ideology is based on a certain ideology which he later describes as fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and claims the interpretations ISIS is using is accepted by both Sunni and Shiite. Al-Din claims to be Shiite but seemingly rejects Shiite jurisprudence which is the basis the Shiite version of Islam. In reality, this so-called moderate Muslim is distancing himself from fiqh which is considered to be a part of the bedrock of Islamic interpretation and society. What he is saying is that ISIS is properly standing on Islamic jurisprudence.

Also, notice Al-Din calls fiqh more dangerous than nuclear technology. I am assuming, since Al-Din did not explain his remark, that he means fiqh is more dangerous than nuclear technology. He does have a point but it is rather odd for a so-called Shiite Muslim to make such an incendiary statement about this section of Shari’ ah. In fact, this so-called moderate Muslim is actually distancing himself from Shari’ ah.

Al-Din also argues Muslims must create a state based on man-made law, equality of all peoples and is free from Islamic law. What Al-Din proposes will not diminish the draw or power of ISIS. Rather, it will increase it. ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood as well as all other jihadi groups are fighting against Al-Din’s very concept. These groups believe that Shari’ ah is not compatible with man-made law and eventually, man-made law in every country must submit to Islam. This sounds very much like taqiyya. Does Al-Din really believe what he is saying? Is he trying to create a situation which will increase the power of ISIS’ draw? Al-Din’s language seems to leave open the possibility that he is working for ISIS, not against it.

Al-Din argued that this civil society must accept the equality of all peoples. Of course, he does not elaborate on this very Western idea but it is religiously impossible. Al-Din rejects portions of Shari’ ah but he does not seem to reject the rest of Shari’ ah including the Qur’ an. An Nisa 4:34 states,

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allah is Ever Most High, Most Great. (The Noble Qur’ an)

The word excel is translated superior meaning that a man is not equal to a woman. This means it is impossible for Muslims to live in a society which forbids them to do what Allah demands. Also, this ayat states that if the wife does not obey the husband has permission to beat her. The parenthetical statement is added by the translators of the Noble Qur’ an and does seem to be a bit oddly self-serving. Additionally, think about Al Tawbah 9:29-32. Muhammad demands that Muslims fight (physically) Jews and Christians until they submit to jazyah and be humiliated. No equality there.

One of the most interesting statements Al-Din makes is that the society must not be based on Islamic law or Shari’ ah. Again, Al-Din is a bit cryptic about what he believes Islamic law contains but both Sunni and Shiite agree that at the least it contains the Qur’ an and Sunnah. What is a bit fascinating is Al-Din’s distinction between fiqh and Islamic law. Nevertheless, is Al-Din saying a society of Muslims are not permitted to use the Qur’ an and Sunnah to guide the civil and political aspect of that society? Al-Din’s belief clearly flies in the face of the original Islamic society Mohammad set up in Madinah. This all sounds a bit odd to me. If what I have pointed out is true Al-Din is doing what no faithful Muslim would – rejecting all Islam as a way of society.

Finally, Al-Din argues against masjids as the center of society. His statement that there are mosques in America preparing Muslims to become ISIS is very frightening. I have no doubt that he believes his claim. We ought to as well. The events of Moore, Oklahoma, Ottawa, Canada and possibly today (10-23-14) in New York City provides some evidence of the Imam’s claim. What is interesting is Al-Din’s argument that mosques must not be allowed to be the center of the society he envisions will destroy the likes of ISIS. Al-Din’s mosqueless society also flies of Mohammad’s example. Every Islamic scholar who is willing to tell the truth about Mohammad’s masjid in Madinah discloses that Mohammad’s mosque was the center of Islamic society. It was at the mosque where Mohammad orchestrated all civil, religious, political and military (jihad) business for the newly formed Islamic state. What Al-Din is offering the Muslim world again flies in the face of Mohammad’s example which interestingly has nothing to do with fiqh.

So, what is an authentic moderate Muslim? Of course, many Muslims and Imams have been called authentically moderate and they have turned out to be faithful. A faithful Muslim is one who believes Islam is superior to all non-Islamic societies and Shari’ ah must be imposed world wide either by Da’ wah or jihad. But there is another type of authentic moderate Muslim. Al-Din’s example leads me to believe this form of an authentic moderate Muslim is in fact what the Qur’ an calls a hypocrite. He claims to be a Muslim but rejects Islamic law and most of its way of life. In other words, as in this case, what the author of the article would like the reader to do is too accept the interpretation of Islam by a hypocrite! This will not help us to defeat ISIS or encourage young Muslims to reject its lure! What the West and Al-Din seem to miss is the problem of groups like ISIS is not a matter of radicalization but of normalization. Whatever tactic(s) we take they must be able to deal with the ongoing normalization of Islamic jihad among the Muslim world.

Isis is using its financial muscle to recruit fighters around the globe

Robin Pagnamenta, Bel Trew and Aoun Sahi, The Times
Published at 12:01AM, October 7 2014

Jihadist groups from across Asia have declared their support for Islamic State and called for attacks against non- Muslims, fanning fears of a growing international backlash to the US-led airstrikes in Syria and Iraq.

The statements by militants from India, Pakistan, Libya and Uzbekistan come amid mounting signs that Isis is using its financial muscle to recruit fighters around the globe to forge a common front.

Security analysts said the potential convergence of different jihadist groups was a “very dangerous development”, with long-term implications for the region. It illustrates how Isis is profiting from the propaganda value of western action being directed against the group and its al-Qaeda-linked rival, Nusra Front, painting it as an attack against all Muslims.. .

At the end of this article, the report attempts to blame ISIS brutal tactics on turning away this “once-loyal foot soldier.” I would argue that the woman is simply a wimp and could not stomach ISIS following the Qur’ an. The Qur’ an states: “When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” (Surat Al-Anfal 8:12)

ISIS continues to hold the world’s attention with yet another globally broadcast execution and an ongoing battle for a critical town on the Turkish-Syrian border.

But glimpses into the inner workings of the group are fairly unusual, even in light of ISIS’s vast resources and global profile.  A recent interview with a 25-year-old woman who was a member of ISIS’s religious police in Raqqa offers a glimpse into what it’s like to work within one of the world’s most notorious terror organizations.

On October 5th, CNN interviewed a 25-year-old Syrian woman who had recently defected from Khansa’a brigade, an all-female ISIS division that enforces conservative social norms based on ISIS’s radical interpretation of Islam — for instance, the Khansa’a would sometimes lash women for not wearing “the proper sharia clothing.” . . .
